While the Verbier Express already allows people from Lac Leman to reach the station without changing trains and that the Châble station has just been renovated, the destination is adding a new milestone to its mobility offer. The link between Le Châble and Verbier will be considered as public transport from December 2021.
Its schedule, which is now that of skiers and ends around 5 p.m., will therefore be extended to provide connections with the train between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. This decision of the Federal Office of Transport implies that part of the costs will be taken on by the canton and the Confederation. Téléverbier remains the owner of the facility.
