On April 16, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming around 150 people at the W Verbier for a themed aperitif organized for Verbier’s English-speaking community. The event was open to both members and non-members interested in joining us. We are pleased to already count several new members since the event.
Michele Lloyd, a member of the committee, began by offering a few welcoming words to those present, encouraging those who are not yet part of APCAV to join us.
Our president, Brigitte Borel, then introduced the association and the benefits it offers to the Verbier community.
Malvine Moulin and Guillaume Colin, representatives of the Commune of Val de Bagnes, along with Antoine Hahne, partner at PONT12 Architectes SA, shared the latest developments regarding the future Verbier Sports Centre.

Finally, Laurent Vaucher, CEO of Téléverbier SA, spoke about key topics such as the new Télémix, the future of Savoleyres, and the development of the Médran / Lumi site. Regarding these two sites, he informed us that all options remain open. He refuted claims that Téléverbier plans to build a youth hostel on the Médran / Lumi site. Nor will it be a five-star hotel, due to space constraints, but various options are being considered at this stage. In any case, any development will require a zoning plan beforehand. APCAV members will be kept informed of future developments.
After many questions from the audience, guests enjoyed a friendly and relaxed moment over drinks.
