Residents and visitors of Verbier will benefit from a medical permanence 7/7 days, 24/24 hours for the winter season.
Three doctors have joined the Verbier resort in the last few days to ensure the medical permanence. After a few months of closure, the Arcades Medical Centre offers a general and emergency medical service as well as related services such as conventional radiology and a medical analysis laboratory.
Three doctors take turns there: Doctor Cédric Petit Le Manach, general practitioner and emergency doctor, is in charge of medical coordination. The general practitioner and emergency doctor Bernard Fontanille and Dr Jean Blanchard, a sports doctor who has been active in mountain rescue for many years, provide assistance. A collaboration is also established with the Maison de la Santé de Sembrancher.
If necessary, three means of contact are offered:

- In a life-threatening emergency, 144 is always the number to call.

- Between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., the centre answers calls on +41 27 564 50 50.
- Finally, in the evening and at night, it is the number for medical regulation that you should dial: 0900 144 033 (50 centimes per call and 2 francs per minute). There, a doctor will give initial advice and, if necessary, call the on-call service of the Arcades Centre.
