Sunday July 30, five remarkable chamber music ensembles from the Verbier Festival Academy performed at the church. At the end of the concert, the various Academy Festival prizes were awarded. The APCAV award is shared this year among the two outstanding following recipients:
Elizaveta Ukrainskaia, a Russian pianist, 26 years old, who first took part in the VF Academy in 2021.
Oliver Neubauer, a violinist from the United States, 23 years old. He previously also took part in the VF Academy in 2021.
We remind that the APCAV Prize is awarded to musicians who contribute to the spirit of the Verbier Festival through a commitment to community and public engagement.
